Claiming is the process used on Cultivate to protect your land. When land is claimed, only people who are given access to the land, can modify it. This is extremely helpful to avoid your land being changed in any way that you may not like. Modifying land without permission is against the rules. This is NOT dependent on whether or not the land is claimed.

Type /claimslist or equip a Golden Shovel to find how many claim blocks you have available. You can get a shovel from /kit 0 or /kit claim.
Using the shovel, right-click on a block outside your home. The chosen block will highlight in diamond.
While holding the shovel, right-click on a block opposite the one you just highlighted. It will create a claim.
You can also equip a stick and right-click the ground within a claim for more information.
After making a claim, remember to do /sethome in order to be able to get back to the location!
Access Trust: Gives a player permission to use your buttons, levers, and beds.
Container Trust: Gives a player permission to use your buttons, levers, beds, crafting gear, containers, and animals.
Permission Trust: Grants a player permission to share his permission level with others.
Trust: Gives another player permission to edit in your claim. Most commonly used type of trust.
If you do not want someone to access your claims at all, you can use our Claim Ban system to make sure they cannot access your claims. You can add them to your Ban list by using /claimban. This will ensure that if a user enters any of your claims and crosses a chunk border, they are teleported to spawn and immediately removed from the claim. This is helpful if you need to remove a troublesome individual or someone who is harassing you. Of course, if they are doing something that is breaking the rules, tell a Staff Member first. If you need to remove someone from your Claim Ban list, use /claimunban.
When joining the server for the first time, you will receive a total of 1,000 claim blocks.
Claim Blocks are earned from playtime at a rate of 100 blocks per hour. You can earn a maximum of 80,000 Claim Blocks.
Claim Blocks can also be obtained from Voting, Donor Ranks, or separately on our store.
Bonus Claim Blocks do not count against the playtime total.
There are no rules which specify how far away one claim has to be from another claim. This rule was removed during the last rewrite of the rules in 2021.
